Back from the DEAD

We are rising this blog from the dead, we're going to give this another try. It didn't work out so well last year, but we really want you to start talking about your work, the work of your peers and those that influnce you, famous or not. So don't just do the minimum assignemnts, they are just to help you get started, tell us what's going on, how you feel about what you're doing and help each other through this "creative process" Looking forward to seeing what you come up with :-)

I had trouble commenting on peoples pages as well. If your having trouble, log out of your blog. then go to "blogger.com" and log in there, and make sure the remember me box is NOT checked. you know it works if you go to "view blog" and your email address is in the top right corner of the page.

Trouble with Google

is anyone else having trouble making comments on other peoples pages?  a couple of people are not able to comment and im trying to figure out why they are having difficulties when others are not. Let me know, thanks

I see that many of you have already found your three inspirational artist - GREAT ! now by August 1st - I would like each of you to make at least one comment, to at least three of your classmates - regarding their inspirational artist and/or their concentration choices - Don't be shy talk to each other!

we are home!

we put over 4000 mile on my car in less than two weeks - the trip was AWESOME! if you'd like to see some pick they will be on FB soon or check out the link to our blog - my boys were keeping blogs for the trip - but we didn't plan for the fact that we would be out of the reach of internet for most of the trip? more pics to come in the gallery but gotta get some work done first

Also...

I have had many of you send me questions via text, email or facebook - please post these questions on your blog - that is why we have them - especially if they are questions regarding you concentration and making decisions about it. i would like you all to get comfortable giving and taking advice from each other - not just me
This has several benefits:
1. you may get several good answers - not just mine
2. many of you are asking similar questions - i can answer them once instead of many separate times
3. you will become more comfortable taking about your work and the work of your peers

Google Reader

Good monday morning - to all - FYI if you have "followed" your classmate's blogs they will be in your Google Reader - simply go to your iGoogle home page then in the 'more' drop down there is a 'Reader' option, click on this and you will see all of the blogs you choose to follow with their most recent updates. They will be under the 'subscriptions' tab on the left. I know I use quotation marks a lot but... thats the best way i know to explain a button or an option to click on ;-)

A New Beginning

Hi all Portfolio & Kendall Folks,

I'm pretty excited about this blog thing - I used it two summers ago for a class I participated in, and have been trying to fit it into my teaching repertoire. I look forward to seeing what you are up to this summer and talking about your artwork! don't be shy... I would like for everyone in the class to feel comfortable talking to and getting to know each other. I've been impressed so far keep up the good work!
